Building support through mental health clubs

Tutor-led spaces help young people learn practical coping strategies and support one another.

Young people taking part in a Rugare school mental health club activity

Rugare's mental health clubs create tutor-led spaces in schools where young people can talk openly, build mental health literacy, and practise healthy coping strategies.

Learning and supporting one another

Trained facilitators and student leaders guide club sessions on topics such as stress management, emotional wellness, and peer support. The clubs help young people build resilience and skills they can carry beyond the classroom.

Rugare currently works with Chimutu CDSS, Mkwichi CDSS, and Mvama Christian Schools. Explore the programs page to learn more about this work.
